These terms apply to the site flute.skillaria.top and the app installed from it (hereinafter — the “Site”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What this Site is

Free materials for learning to play the recorder on your own: lessons with slides and narration, articles, a trainer and a game that listen to your recorder through the microphone. No sign-up or payment needed.

2. Children and parents

The Site is intended for children together with their parents (legal guardians). If a child is under 14, parents decide for themselves whether to allow the child to use the Site and the microphone, and supervise the practice.

3. How you can use it

• For personal non-commercial learning, including music lessons at school, kindergarten or a club.
• You may not interfere with the Site's operation, try to hack it or mass-download materials with automated tools.
• You may not pass off the Site's materials as your own or sell them.

4. Rights to the materials

The texts, pictures, diagrams, narration, program code, design and the bird character belong to us or are used under license. Short excerpts may be quoted with a link to the Site. The melodies in the game are folk or classical and are in the public domain; the recorder arrangements were made by us. The Nunito font is distributed under the SIL Open Font License.

Melodies that you type in yourself in the “My melodies” section are stored only in your browser, and the rights to them remain with you.

5. The trainer is a helper, not an exam

Note recognition depends on the microphone, the recorder, room noise and the browser, so it sometimes makes mistakes. The trainer's hints are advice, not an assessment of a child's abilities. The Site does not replace lessons with a teacher.

6. Liability

The Site is provided free of charge and “as is”. We try to make it work without failures, but we do not promise that it will always be available and error-free. We are not responsible for interruptions, for loss of progress stored in the browser (for example, after clearing its data), or for how the Site works on a particular device. If you lost something because of our mistake, write to us and we will try to help.

Play the recorder in a comfortable position, take breaks and don't blow too hard. If you feel dizzy, rest.

7. Data

The data the Site processes is described in the privacy policy. In short: sound is not recorded and not sent anywhere, cookies and analytics are not used.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The new version takes effect when it is published on this page. Send questions and suggestions to info@skillaria.top. Disputes are resolved under the legislation of the Russian Federation.
